“ This was a good decision to stop and try. The price is really good, so worth it's worth a try. The lunch specials are plentiful and all for $9.99. I tried the chicken shawarma combo lunch special. The salad, hummus, garlic and bread to start already made the cost worth while. The chicken and rice to follow was good as well. The chicken was a bit dry and slightly bland but tasty. The rice was done and not runny. The place looks a little run down but the food makes up for it. I would come again. ”

Sam and his team serve up some generous portions and are all very friendly and helpful. The $10 lunch specials could easily serve 2 and come with salad, bread and hummus. My personal fav is the Meat Shawarma, but on my next visit I may give the Ghallaba a try. The shawarma comes with the best moist and flaky rice you will ever eat and the Tahini is like icing on the cake. You know you have a serious La Pita problem when the guy at the register says, like he did the last time I was in, "see you tomorrow!" ”
